Angel Yin

Country: United States
DOB: 03-10-1998

Throughout her golfing life, Angel Yin has never been far from the spotlight. A California Women’s Amateur champion aged just 12, she qualified for the US Women’s Open at 13 before making her first major cut at the ANA Inspiration at 14. A three time Solheim Cup competitor for Team USA, the game has come quickly for Yin, who played her Rookie season on the European Tour aged just 17.

Unsurprisingly, Yin’s first professional victory arrived before she reached her twenties when defeating then reigning Women’s Open champion I.K. Kim on the second playoff hole at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic before securing her full playing rights on the LPGA Tour.

In 2023 Angel secured her debut win on the LPGA with a win at the Buick LPGA Shanghai event finishing a standout season which along with her win also included a second placed finish at the Chevron Major Championship, a tied 6th finish at the Open Championship along with winning the 2023 Aon Risk Reward Challenge securing the $1 million prize.
