Scottish international Ewen was bestowed great expectation from the moment he landed the British Boys title in 2013. Two years later, he played a pivotal role for GB&I in the 2015 Walker Cup where a singles victory against the then number 2 ranked amateur in the world helped his team to a record-breaking triumph.

The Scottish Amateur Golfer of the Year in 2015, Ewen made the jump to professional company a year later off a lofty plus-five handicap playing on both the Challenge and European Tours before securing his full playing rights in 2021 on the DP World Tour for the 2021 / 2022 season.

Since then Ewen has secured an incredible two DP World victories in his rookie season winning both the Qatar Masters and the ISPS Handa World Invitational where he led the tournament wire to wire shooting a course record 61 in the opening round.

 In 2023 Ewen was selected by Luke Donald to represent Team GB&I at the Hero Cup joining up with a team that included Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Tyrrell Hatton.
