Modest! Golf Management are thrilled to confirm that European Tour client Connor Syme has decided to commit his long-term future to the company.

The Scot is a Modest! Golf original having signed his first professional contract with the company in September 2017 shortly after representing GB&I at the Walker Cup.

The then world amateur number 8 turned to the paid circuit with a lofty reputation and wasted little time in showcasing it when firing four rounds in the 60s on his debut at the Portuguese Masters in 2017.

Since then, it’s been a steady progression for Syme who captured his first professional victory in a manner that suggests there’s plenty more to come with a 23-under par winning total at the 2019 Turkish Airlines Challenge.

“I’m so pleased to resign with the team at Modest!,” said Syme.

“They’ve supported me every step of the way since I turned professional. I’ve a great relationship with everybody in the team and I know how hard they work for me.

“I’m very excited about what we can go on to achieve together into the future.”

That future is a bright one for the 24-year old who earned his graduation to the European Tour off the back of some superb consistency on the Challenge Tour circuit in 2019. No wonder then that Modest! Golf owner, Niall Horan is equally thrilled to have secured the signature of the exceptional Scot.

“We’re incredibly delighted that Connor’s resigned on a long-term deal with Modest!,” said Horan.

“Connor represents everything we try to be as a business. He’s a young, talented guy and just a genuine person who gives his all to improving every day.

“Connor has an amazing family support unit back home and we’re honoured to play a small part in that. We will do everything we can in order to help him reach the next step in his journey and we’re so excited to see what the future holds.”

Syme’s contract extension arrives hot on the heels of further good news for the Modest! Golf stable after two-time European Tour winner, Italian Guido Migliozzi and world top-50 star, South African Christiaan Bezuidenhout committed their long-term future to the company.
